For Shopify merchants installing and using the fitchek app

This policy explains how Coderapper ("fitchek", "we", "us") handles information in connection with your installation and use of the fitchek Shopify app (the "App"). It is written for merchants (store owners). If you're a shopper using the try-on, please read our Shopper Privacy Policy.

Section 1: Your role and ours
When you install the App, you are the data controller for your customers' (shoppers') personal data, and fitchek is your data processor — we process shopper data on your instructions to provide the try-on service. For your own business data (your account and billing), fitchek is the controller.
Section 2: Information we collect from merchants
• Shopify account info — your name, email, shop domain, and contact details, via the Shopify API.
• Billing information — handled through Shopify's Billing API. We do not store your card details.
• Studio assets — if you use fitchek Studio, we process the product images and model photos you upload.
• Customer data (on your behalf) — we process your shoppers' photos, videos, and emails (where enabled) to provide the try-on. You do not have access to your shoppers' raw uploaded photos or videos — only the try-on results shoppers consent to share.
Section 3: How we use merchant information
• To provide and operate the service, including generating try-on images and videos.
• To process your billing and subscription.
• To communicate with you about updates, support, and billing.
• To give you analytics such as try-on sessions, order attribution, and returns impact.
Section 4: How your data and your shoppers' data is protected
• Private storage and access control. Shopper try-on media is held in private storage and served only through short-lived, access-controlled links that expire automatically. It is never public or guessable.
• No AI training. We do not use your data or your shoppers' data to train AI models. Our live-video provider operates under a zero-data-retention agreement, meaning it does not keep or train on your shoppers' video.
Section 5: How long we keep data
• Shopper photos, videos, and generated results: automatically deleted within 14 days.
• Merchant account data: deleted within 30 days of you uninstalling the App.
• Billing records: retained for as long as required by applicable Indian tax and accounting law.
Section 6: Providers we work with
We use trusted third parties to run the service, including Shopify (platform and billing), our AI image- and video-generation providers, and our hosting and storage providers. Our live-video provider works under a zero-data-retention agreement. A current list of our sub-processors is available on request at the contact below.

Section 7: International data
fitchek is operated from India, and merchants and shoppers may be located around the world. Where personal data moves across borders, we use appropriate safeguards to protect it. You can request more information at the contact below.
Section 8: Data rights
You and your shoppers may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data-protection authority. For merchant requests, contact us below. For shopper requests where you are the controller, we will assist you as your processor.
Section 9: Data Processing Agreement
Because we process your shoppers' personal data on your behalf, we act as your processor. A Data Processing Agreement covering this relationship, including our security measures and sub-processor terms, is available on request at the contact below.
Section 10: Updating your own store policy
Since you are the controller for your shoppers, you should mention the try-on feature in your store's own privacy policy. You're welcome to use this text:
"Virtual Try-On. Our store uses fitchek to let you see how products look on you. When you use it, you upload a photo or short video, which is processed by AI to generate your try-on. Your media is used only for this purpose, is not used to train AI models, and is automatically deleted within 14 days. See fitchek's Shopper Privacy Policy for details."
