You're reading this because you're using fitchek to try a product on — either on a store's product page online, or on a screen inside a physical store. This policy explains, in plain terms, how your data is handled.
fitchek is operated by Coderapper ("fitchek", "we", "us"). The store you're shopping with decides how your data is used and acts as its controller; we handle it on their behalf.
Legal & Privacy
Section 1: What we collect
We only collect what you actively give us when you use the try-on:
• Your photo or video — the image or short live video you upload or capture to see a product on yourself.
• Your email (optional) — a store may ask for your email to unlock more try-ons or to send you your results. You choose whether to provide it.
• Basic usage data — anonymous information about whether a try-on worked, so we can fix problems.
Section 2: What we use your photo or video for
Your photo or video is used for one purpose only: to generate the try-on that shows you wearing or holding the product.
We only collect what you actively give us when you use the try-on:
Section 3: How your data is protected
• Private storage. Your try-on media is kept in private storage. It is never public, listable, or guessable.
• Access that expires. Media is reachable only through short-lived, access-controlled links that expire automatically. Even if a link were shared or leaked, it stops working after a short time.
• Consent first. You approve your photo before any try-on runs. Nothing is stored, shown, or used without your action.
Section 4: How long we keep it
Your try-on media is automatically and permanently deleted within 14 days. We don't keep your photos or videos longer than needed for you to view, save, or share your results.
Section 5: Who can see your data
• The store you're shopping with. If you provide your email, the store receives it. The store does not get access to your uploaded photo or video — only the try-on result you choose to share.
• fitchek. We process your media to make the try-on work.
• Our AI providers. We use trusted third-party AI services to generate your try-on. For live video try-on, that provider works under a zero-data-retention agreement — it does not keep your video after processing and does not use it to train its models. Our still-image provider processes your image only to generate the result and does not use it for training. A current list of our providers is available on request at the contact below.
• Sharing with friends. If you use a "share" feature, you control who you send your result to. Creating a share link still does not give the store access to your original photo or video.
Section 6: Sensitive personal data
Because a try-on uses an image of your face and body, that image may be treated as sensitive personal data under laws such as the GDPR and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
We handle it accordingly: we process it only with your consent, use it only to generate your try-on, never use it to train AI models, and delete it within 14 days. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Section 7: Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, withdraw your consent, and complain to your local data-protection authority.
Your try-on media is deleted automatically within 14 days; to have it deleted sooner, contact us at the address below.
Section 8: Children
fitchek is not intended for use by children. If you are under 18, please use fitchek only with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have collected a child's data without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
